Mainstay’s Board of Directors and Committees are made up of volunteers with varied knowledge and experience to help guide the organization.
The Board sets broad policy for a complex organization with a dynamic staff. Areas of expertise needed are finance, housing, and mental health and addiction. In addition to our Board of Directors, we have four committees, each focusing on a different area:
- Governance and Nominations
- Finance and Audit
- Quality
- Housing Planning and Development
We need people who will be committed to Mainstay’s mission to operate high quality housing, support housing stability and create inclusive communities. Our Board meets one evening monthly in the downtown Toronto area. Committees meet on average four times a year.
