Drew Baillie President

Vice President, Digital at KPMG, strategy and operations lead, driving the growth of KPMG’s Digital Transformation services. Prior to this, Drew was a Management Consultant for 12 years in the Healthcare Industry, advising governments and health service providers on health system design. Drew is an Industrial Engineer, specializing in Health Systems, has a Masters in Health Administration, and holds a Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation.

Gord Singer Vice-President

A Mainstay tenant since 1990, Gord is skilled in governance having served on numerous boards and committees. He has extensive experience in public speaking, advocacy and providing direct service in mental health. He has been employed as a Peer Support Specialist at Unity Health Toronto – St. Michael’s Hospital since 1999 and is a Certified Peer Supporter. Gord is a member of the CAMH Research Ethics Board and has published articles on Recovery and Peer Support.

Kyle Brady

Kyle works in Investor Relations at TD, helping to drive communication of strategy and performance to external audiences while shaping internal messaging and high-level decisions by sharing market feedback. His work supports TD’s Board and executive leadership team. He has worked with Mainstay’s Governance and Nominations committee since 2016.

Winston Eddy

A Mainstay tenant since 2016, Winston has employment and volunteer experience in homeless-serving programs including the Out of the Cold Foundation. Winston is a firm believer in the importance of therapeutic programs in the buildings people live in, to improve the quality of life for Mainstay’s tenants.

Leslie Gash

A Senior Vice-President of Development for Waterfront Toronto, Leslie has more than 30 years of development work experience in the non-profit and social housing sector. Leslie is highly skilled in site analysis, budgets, planning approvals, community engagement, construction and community economic development.

Michael Higgs

Michael has been a Mainstay tenant for more than 30 years. He has a Degree in Clinical Social Work, and a Master’s Degree in Psychoanalysis. Involved with consumer survivor activists in the 1980s and 1990, he has also worked closely with survivors in previous roles as President of Job Quest and also of Fresh Start Cleaning and Maintenance of Toronto.

Janice Lin

Janice is a Senior Principal in the Direct Private Equity group at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, where she previously worked as a Director of Real Estate Investments. She has in-depth knowledge of the residential real estate sector. She also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

William McIntosh

William has been a Mainstay tenant since 2005 and coordinates the Bread Bank program at his building. A dedicated fundraiser for cancer research, sick children and Parent Teacher Associations, William also spent 11 years working in numerous roles at a family court.

Peggy Mooney Treasurer

A former Senior Executive with the Ontario Public Service, Peggy has a background in economics and financial administration. She provided advice to government on budgetary issues in a number of ministries.

Molly Reynolds

Molly is a privacy lawyer with Torys LLP and has had a long-time commitment to social justice, including legal challenges relating to affordable housing. Molly has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Alana Rom

Alana has been a Mainstay tenant since 2000. She is employed as an assistant maintenance worker. Despite being hard of hearing from birth, she has completed an Honours Diploma at George Brown College, specializing in Advocacy/Counselling for Assaulted Women and Children. Her experience allows her to empathize with persons of mental health and addictions. Alana envisions a community of safe and affordable housing for persons living in poverty and the ageing population.

Lisa Rotstein

Lisa is a Gerontologist with more than 25 years of experience working in corporate Canada with community health service providers, including senior level positions in the non-profit, private and public health sectors. Lisa is a healthcare consultant and the founder of Gerontology Solutions Inc. and provides consulting expertise to health care clients along with her colleagues at Health Innovations Group.

Linda Russell

A semi-retired business owner with a background in economics, Linda remains active as a long-time volunteer with the Out of the Cold Foundation. She is also a firm believer in the principles of Housing First. She is passionate about Mainstay’s work in a city where decent housing has become unaffordable.

Monica So

Monica is a Chartered Public Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in financial reporting and analysis. She graduated from the University of Waterloo and previously worked as an Audit Manager gaining experience across a wide range of industries. She is currently the VP Finance at a media agency.
